Process mechanic of plastic and rubber technology

As process technician at NOVAPAX, you will form plastic material into plastic parts by using injection molding machines. During the training, you will learn how to install injection molding machines and systems and how to exchange injection devices. You will have to prepare exact recipes of colors and materials as quality is the highest priority when producing plastic parts. You will run and check our high-tech injection molding machines and industrial robots. You will monitor the machines digitally and you will learn how to use economic indicators. All along, you will monitor the quality of the products and document the manufacturing process. You will also maintain the tools which is part of your daily work. Programing the robots and other software is also part of your activities. Once your work is done, you will be able to evaluate your efforts and improve on a daily basis.

Tool mechanic

As tool mechanic at NOVAPAX, you will manufacture tools for injection molding and devices for the serial production of our injection molding machines, and tools per request by our clients. Be it a hearing device, a cell phone cover or a tooth brush – for each plastic part we need a special metal tool. You will learn this as a tool mechanic specialized in mold construction. The metal will be worked with drilling, milling, turning, grinding and filing exactly as indicated on the technical specifications. Next to the manual handling, CNC-controlled machines are used to produce individual parts of more complex tools. The individual parts will then be assembled to become ready-to-use molds. You can also see if and how the mold works on our injection molding machines. Upgrading and repair of our injection molds and machines are also part of your responsibilities. At the end of your training period, you will be able to produce yourself molds and you will have learned various production techniques and how to use CNC-controlled machines. You may also deepen your technical know-how with specializing in a certain production technique or you may want to use one of the many continued education opportunities.

Electronics engineer for automation technology

As electronics engineer for automation technology at NOVAPAX you will analyze the functional interactions and process sequence of automated systems and digitalize our production. You will install and adjust electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic drive systems and install measurement, control and regulation equipment. You will program and adjust sensor systems, operating systems, bus systems and networks, and you connect installed components to form complex automation systems that you integrate into the overall system. After test runs, you hand over the systems and instruct future users on how to use them. Electronics technicians for automation technology also monitor and maintain the automation systems. Using test software and diagnostic systems you will locate, analyze and resolve malfunctions.

Warehouse logistics specialist

Warehouse logistics specialists at NOVAPAX are responsible for the logistic control of the flow of goods from unloading and professional storage of raw materials to the proper preparation for production. The products are then taken over by you and temporarily stored in our high-rack warehouse until the order is put together for our customers. You load, ship and receive goods and try to optimize logistical processes in the interest of the company. You also store goods in our warehouse taking the respective product characteristics into account or prepare goods for shipping.
